Meine zehn Lieblingsfilme der Coen-Brüder
Heute mal wieder eine kleine Liste. Eine Liste, die sich dieses Mal nicht auf ein bestimmtes Genre bezieht, sondern auf das Werk zweier Regisseure, deren Filme ich grundsätzlich sehr, sehr schätze, sind sie doch sehr schräge Geschichtenerzähler weit abseits des Hollywood-Mainstreams. Die Filme der Coen-Brüder sind bevölkert von lauter schrägen Figuren, Außenseiter und Gestrauchelte, liebenswerten Versagern und verirrten Suchenden, sie sind voller skurriler Momente und einem so eigenen schwarzen Humor, den tatsächlich nur sie in dieser besonderen Art beherrschen. Aus diesen und noch aus vielen anderen gründen zählen die beiden zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsregisseuren, weshalb ich ihnen diese Liste widme.
